CONSTRUCTION : are made of Stainless Steel, GP Sheathing having the heat Resistance Chrome nickle 80/20 element protected under the best insulation to
avoid the leakage of current and to ensure the long life of the heaters. Finns *(3”x1.5”), **(3.5”x1.5”) which increase the output of heat to the maximum dissipation and having screw type terminals on one end for proper connection.

INSTALLATION : Intallation with in forced air only in horizontal and flat position only


FINNED AIR HEATERS DOUBLE TUBE
APPLICATION: Air-conditioning, Electric Ovens, Gases,
Hot Air Chambers
TECHNICAL DATA: Generally available from 1.5 KW to 4 KW, 230 volts, AC 50 HZ, Single phase. Operates upto 550°F. Two L-Clamps are provided on both ends of heaters for proper installation.
CONSTRUCTION : Finned Air Heaters are consisting of two tubuler mineral filled incoloy-800/stainless steel-321 sheathed elements dia 8mm, in one unit G.P. Finns (3.5”x1.5”) are provided for quick dissipation of Heat. It can be installed in any position as per space requirements. Its 50% wattage can be utilized if required. its special feature-maximum wattage in minimum space.
INSTALLATION: With in forced air with thermostat in any position

CONSTRUCTION : Incoloy-800/Stainless steel-321 sheathed tubular elements with /without finns.U/M shape elements are mounted on a detachable terminal plate using galvanized retainers.A mounting flange permits attachment to the ductwork. Individual Elements are easily replaced or interchanged. Where the application calls for a higher operating temperature, the case is constructed from heat resisting steels. A thermal cutout fitted for protection against over heating. UT TO LENGTH HEATER TAPES
APPLICATION: Freeze protection (including sprinkler systems, water lines, gutter and roofs), refrigeration, hot water temperature maintenance, foodprocessing, chemical manufacture, pharmaceuticals, refineries, acidic and petro-chemical plants, power generation and offshore oil industries.
CONSTRUCTION: Daspass manufactured a range of heater tapes which can be cut to the exact circuit lengths on-side, for maximum convenience and minimum wastage. Robust in construction and available with braid and oversheath for mechanical and corrosive protection as required, the Cut-to-Length tapes are available in two versions:ELECTRACE self-regulating tapes with a variable loading, reducing power output with increasing temperature. Tape withstand temperatures form -40° to 200°C. METERHEAT zone-parallel tapes, pre-designed to a specific loading per unit length to provide the same power outside irrespective of the pipe temperature. Tape withstand temperatures from -50° to 260°C.

DRUM HEATERS
Daspass radiant drum heater has been designed to overcome the problem to handling and heating 45 gallon drums containing oil, wax, resin, fats, food products or chemicals. The specially constructed tubular steel frame of the unit enables 45 gallon drums to be quickly and simply lifted into a horizontal dispensing position without the aid of hoists or ramps. The unit is mobile, being fitted with four Castor wheels with Optional brake feature . This enables 45 gallon drums to be readily transported in stores and production areas.The 6kW heating unit consists of inconel sheathed heating elements which are located within a polished aluminum reflector. The elements are controlled by a 3-heat rotary switch and the unit is equipped with a heavy duty, metal clad, shrouded plug and socket, designed so that the mains supply cable can be readily detached from the unit while drums are being loaded, transported or unloaded. Other safety featured incorporeted in the design of the unit inclume a wire mesh elements guard, a mains-on neon warning light and drain holes in the polished aluminium reflector to cope with accidental spillage.

The radiant heating unit can be supplied separately or complete with the wheeled, tubular stand. Standard units are available for operation on 230/415 volts, 50 Hz AC/DC, Electricity SupplyNote :This unit should not be used for heating drums containing highly inflammable liquids.


FINNED AIR HEATERS

OVER THE SIDE-ALKALINE/LEAD/ CHEMICAL IMMERSION HEATERS

(ALI) These heaters are used for alkaline cleaning solutions, citrus juices and very mild acid baths not corrosive to stainless steel sheet.

(LCI) These heaters are recommended for nickle, copper or chrome, plating baths and shulphuric acid solution having not more than 10% concentration.

Caution: These heaters are not recommended for any other acid.

(CIT) These heaters are generally used for plating baths such as nickle, chrome, gold, silver including ferric and iron chloride solution bright dips and
nickles containing nigric, Phosphoric and chromic acids, nitrates, permaganates, persulphats.

These are rewireable type elements and inserted in the tubing of lead/glass/silica/titanium/stainless steel etc. Its terminals are covered with cap. fitted with flange, for installation. Red marks indicate HOT and COLD protions.

OVER THE SIDE-CHEMICAL IMMERSION HEATERS-TITANIUM SHEATH CASTED

(i) Mineral filled elements are casted in imported titanium tubes for long life of the heaters

(ii) Specially designed for easy installations having sealed heavy terminal box to prevent from moisture and fumes.

Caution: Must be dipped inside the chemical upto red mark which indicate shot length.


OVER THE SIDE-CAST IN HEATING ELEMENTS FOR METAL MELTING

Tubular elements are casted into solid cast iron for maximum ruggedness in melting soft metals such as solder lead, tin babbitt.

Caution : Recommended for babbitt alloys, not containing more than 4% copper. Net recommended for zinc,aluminum, or any other metal in which iron is soluble.


BAND HEATERS

Cermic/Mica band heaters design is the result of many years of research, development and testing for a reliable mica insulated Cermic band heater that can perform at higher operating temperatures (in application up to 500° c) essential to process high temperatures resins, providing long efficient service necessary for today’s high productivity of plastic extrudes, injections & blow molding machines.


HEAT PROOF CERAMIC BAND HEATERS WITH SS COVERING

Specially designed and engineered models to meet the ever increasing demand for energy conservation and to improve operations efficiency, capable of generating higher temperatures essential to process today’s high temperature resins. Energy Conservation is achieved by using thick Ceramic fiber insulating blanket on surface increasing the overall outer diameter by 2” (minimum length required is 4”) power consumption up to 30% because of low thermal conductivity of the ceramic fib, insulation, the external surface temperature of the insulation plus band heaters are approximately 80° C while running the inside surface temperature at 300°C. SPACE HEATERS

Space Heaters are ideal for prevention of condensation, corrosion. Leakage currents in L.T & H.T. Switchgear panel boards, electronic instruments sheathed cartridge heating element in perforated sheet metal enclosure. A blackodized finish ensures rapid heat dissipation.

A 2×2.5 mm² porcelain terminal block is provided for electrical connection. installation can be done in vertical or horizontal position, although horizontal mounting is preferred. Distance from surface of panel should be at least 10 mm.and distance from plastic parts should be at least 50 mm.

Each heater is tested for following specific tests.
1) High Voltage Test At 2Kv for 1min.
2) Insulation Resistance > 10 Mega Ohms.
3) Power rating within ” 10%.
